BRANCHES OUTSIDE OF CRACOW - NOWY TARG
ARCHIVAL COLLECTION
Archival materials kept in the Nowy Targ Branch of the Archive cover the years 1251-2000 and presently number 44 thousand archival units, that is about 1130 metres of files divided into 500 archival funds. The files come from the area of the former Nowy Targ and Myślenice County. Among the most precious and oldest are parchment documents - royal privileges included in the Old Polish archive of the Town of Nowy Targ. Apart from parchment and paper documents, old town and guild books, we also maintain manor archives of the Homolacs family and Count Władysław Zamoyski (1696-1924) and the Kórnik estate from the 18th until the 19th century. We also hold a very interesting construction documentation of villas and guest houses from Zakopane.
