ACCESS - Archive Reading Rooms
Archival materials in the form of loose files can be made available only after numbering of the pages. If the ordered archival materials do not have numbered pages, access can only be given after prior arrangements with the head of a given reading room
Department I - Wawel Castle
(Old Polish files of cities, districts, family archives and other collections)
The reading room is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00 (closed in August)
Realisation of orders: immediately
Department II - ul. Grodzka 52
(Files of general and special state administration, and court files from the 19th and 20th centuries)
The reading room is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00 (closed in August)
Realisation of orders:
orders submitted by 12:00, realised between 12:00 -15:00
orders submitted after 12:00, realised next day
For persons residing outside the Cracow area, orders are realised immediately
Department III - ul. Sienna 16
(Files of the City of Cracow, local government, religious denominations and social organisations)
The reading room is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00 (break from 11:00 to 11:15); evening hours: Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 19:00 (closed in August; from July to September - no evening hours)
