DATABASE - SUPERVISION

The SUPERVISION database is a registry of the organisational units which are recognised as creating materials included in the state archival collection. It was developed by the employees of the state archives and the Head Office of the State Archives. It has been operative since 2000.

The version presented here contains basic information concerning the organisational units supervised by the State Archive in Cracow ( as of 31 December 2002), i.e.:

• identification number - consisting of the number of the Headquarters of the State Archive or its Branch outside Cracow, and a serial number given to each organisational unit.
  • 29 - State Archive in Cracow (HEADQUARTERS)
  • 30 - State Archive in Cracow BOCHNIA BRANCH
  • 31 - State Archive in Cracow NOWY SĄCZ BRANCH
  • 32 - State Archive in Cracow NOWY TARG BRANCH
  • 33 - State Archive in Cracow TARNÓW BRANCH
• name of the supervised organisational unit
• year in which the unit was taken under supervision
• locality

In order to obtain a list of all organisational units supervised by the Headquarters or a given branch of the State Archive in Cracow, only the Headquarters number or the branch number should be typed in.
